• Census 2011 Briefing Note - The 2011 Census of population took place on Sunday 27th March 2011 in England and Wales. This briefing note contains analysis of the first release of 2011 Census data which includes population data and household data at district level.  A summary of population changes since 2001 is also included.

• 2011 Census Results Briefing Note 2.pdf -  This is the second of our Census Briefing notes. It includes usual resident population in households and communal establishments, population density, average household size and usual resident population by five year age groups. All data is available for England, East Midlands, Derbyshire (administrative county), Chesterfield Borough, Chesterfield Borough Wards and Chesterfield Borough Lower Super Output Areas.

• State of the Borough Report 2011 -  A census has taken place in this county every 10 years since 1801.  The latest took place in March 2011, however this data will be unavailable until autumn 2012. This State of the Borough report draws mainly on the Census 2001 data, with updates where they are available e.g. Index of Multiple Deprivation 2010 and the Health Profile 2011.
