Housing Associations

A housing association or registered social landlord (RSL) is a not-for-profit landlord that provides affordable properties to rent or buy.   

There are approximately 17 Housing Associations renting over 1,300 properties in Chesterfield Borough.  A table of the Housing associations their contact details, and the number and types of social rented property they own is set out in the link below:

Each of the associations offers a proportion of their properties that are available to let through the ‘On the move’ choice based letting system.  In addition, several of the Housing Associations operate their own waiting lists and allocate their own properties.
