The Mayors Parlour

The Mayor’s Parlour is open for visitors by appointment. We welcome visits from local groups, societies, schools and individuals. Please contact:-

The Mayor’s Parlour displays many historical artefacts, royal memorabilia, civic regalia and silver ware. A guided tour of the Mayor’s Parlour and Council Chamber are provided where you can learn more about the history of the Town Hall.

School groups are also welcome to visit the Council Chamber where they can hold school council debates, followed by a tour of the Mayor’s Parlour.
