Welcome to Parking Services
Chesterfield Borough Council’s Parking Services manages off-street car parking for approximately 3,000 vehicles per day within the town centre and outer fringe sites. Two thirds of the parking stock is surface 'Pay and Display' car parks and the remainder are controlled by 'Pay on Return' schemes. Approximately 2.5 million customers use the service per year, a number of which are blue badge holders. The Council provides 107 spaces, the majority of which are wide bays specifically for use by drivers/passengers with a disability. Charges for parking, plus help line details, are displayed on prominent information boards in the vicinity of the pay machines on each car park.
