Pomegranate Theatre

Pomegranate Theatre  Pomegranate Theatre Bar

The Pomegranate Theatre is a delightful Victorian 590-seat proscenium arch theatre housed in a Grade II listed building.

It’s the country’s oldest civic theatre with Chesterfield Borough Council continuing the proud tradition of providing a varied programme of professional touring and high-quality local amateur productions.

The main stage hosts drama, comedy, dance and musicals but, without doubt, the favourite every year is the pantomime.

The theatre sits at the heart of Chesterfield town centre, just a few minutes' walk from the railway station and the coach station, with ample car parking nearby.
