Chesterfield Borough Council runs a variety of activities and events in its parks and open spaces. If your organisation would like to hold an event on a park, you must take note of the following:
- You will need to apply to Chesterfield Borough Council for permission by completing an event booking form.
- You will need to provide appropriate documentation for your event (such as a risk assessment, public liability insurance and an event plan).
- You will need to adhere to the terms and conditions as set out by Chesterfield Borough Council.
If the proposed event is large scale, you may need to contact the emergency planning department at Derbyshire County Council.
To find out more, please telephone Daniel Watson, the recreation co-ordinator, on 01246 345 125.
