Introducing the Mayor

The Mayor should be introduced as “The Worshipful Mayor of Chesterfield, Councillor (first name and surname)”.

Introducing the Mayoress

The Mayoress should be introduced as “The Mayoress of Chesterfield, (Title, first name and surname).”

Deputy Mayor and Mayoress

The Deputy Mayor should be addressed as "Deputy Mayor".

The Deputy Mayoress should be addressed as "Deputy Mayoress".

Introducing the Deputy Mayor

The Deputy Mayor should be introduced as "The Deputy Mayor of Chesterfield, Councillor (first name and surname)".

The Deputy Mayoress should be introduced as "The Deputy Mayoress of Chesterfield, (Title, first name and surname)".

General Protocol 

First names should not be used.

Whether it is a female or male Mayor you address them as either Mr Mayor or Madam Mayor and their husband or partner is addressed as – female, Mayoress and male – Mr Consort.
