- Provision of 46 parks and open spaces covering 689 acres (279 ha)
- Provision of a programme of opportunities at a wide range of levels and sports within a structures sports development process, in partnership with Clubs and Schools
- Provision of a programme of Community Initiatives (on an outreach basis) to encourage participation in or audiences for arts, entertainment and recreational activity.
- Developed Thirty Percent of Art schemes in the Borough.
- Worked with local schools on environmental education.
