Climate Change Strategy Survey
Residents, businesses and community groups across the borough are being invited to have their say on local plans to reduce the impact of climate change, as part of our ongoing commitment to tackle the climate emergency.
Our survey is seeking your views on the themes we are focusing on which will help shape the council’s next climate change strategy. This strategy will guide our actions to help us achieve our 2030 goal of becoming a climate neutral organisation. It will also set the groundwork to achieve our target of becoming a carbon neutral borough by 2050.
Below you will find two documents, one outlines the proposed themes of the strategy and the other is a glossary of terms to help ensure everyone can understand this topic and engage with this survey. Once you have looked through these documents you can share your feedback using our online survey.
The document which sets out key themes also provides examples of the objectives that would fit within each theme.
Our online survey allows you to tell us which themes you think are most important and to provide your suggestions for objectives.
Objectives would then fit into annual delivery plans which would be guided by the key themes set out within the strategy.
The closing date for the survey is Monday 12 December.
Once you have looked through the above documents you can provide feedback using our online survey.
