Chesterfield hosts several festivals throughout the year.
Chesterfield Area Walking Festival 2017
Explore the Chesterfield area on foot in our 11th annual Walking Festival. Stroll around pretty villages, look at flowers, listen to birds and search out dragonflies and butterflies. Take in some history, set out after tea and cakes or finish off with a pint at the local pub. Most walks are free so there’s no excuse not to join us. All are led by a fully trained guide who knows the history, wildlife and the best countryside to walk through (as well as the best pubs to visit) in the beautiful Chesterfield landscape.
