Chesterfield Market Hall has been officially named as the UK’s best small indoor market by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
Chesterfield's Victorian Market Hall was originally built in 1857 "for the shelter and safeguard of market people". It has undergone several refurbishments, the most recent being a multi-million pound refit that was finished at the end of October 2013.
The Market Hall is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm (butchers from 8am).
