Chesterfield in Lockdown Museum Exhibition

Chesterfield in Lockdown Museum Exhibition

Chesterfield Museum is currently working with local people and organisations all over Chesterfield to put together an exhibition that conveys different experiences of ‘lockdown’ throughout the borough.

We want to appeal to individuals, families and friends to get in touch with your stories, memories, images and items. Anything that you feel expresses your experiences during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Chesterfield Museum tells the story of Chesterfield and what we are experiencing today is the history of our tomorrow.

So, we really hope that by working with local people, community groups and organisations we can all come together to present an exhibition that will share our memories of lockdown and convey the stories and feelings experienced during this unprecedented crisis.

Discover how you can get involved in the 'Chesterfield in Lockdown' Museum Exhibition.

We are also looking to create a textile artwork which reflects what lockdown meant to us and our community and we would love you to be involved.

Learn more about this unique opportunity to become part of our ‘Chesterfield in Lockdown’ Community Textile Artwork.
