Show your Dad how much you care with some easy children's craft activities from our Museum Assistant Amanda.

 

Fathers Day Card

Make this lovely tie card. You can either be creative and draw your own or print out our template.

1. Cut out the tie and glue onto coloured or white card and decorate.
2. Cut out the title to use on your card or write your own.
3. Cut out the superhero and glue inside the card or draw your own.

No. 1 Dad Rosette

Why not make your Dad a rosette to let him know he really is the best!

1. Print onto thin card or print and glue onto card from a cereal box. Leave to dry and carefully cut out the rosette.
2. Colour the rosette and decorate.
3. Fasten a safety pin on the back or attach a piece of ribbon.
You could also fasten onto coloured card to make a card.

Fathers Day Pen Pot

Why not make your Dad his very own pen pot with this simple design that he’s sure to love.

1. Print the stars or trophy onto A4 plain paper or draw and colour your own design.
2. Wrap around an empty coffee jar or tin and fasten into place.
3. Fill with pens and pencils or even sweet treats.

Father's Day Mug

Why not also have a go at making a special mug for your Dad and then let him relax with a nice cup of tea!

You will need:

Mug, Permanent Markers (not felt-tips), newspaper, apron

1. Cover a table with newspaper and put on an apron.
2. Choose a mug or cup and decorate using the permanent pens. 
3. Leave to dry for an hour!
