Eastwood Park in Hasland was opened officially by Councillor Christine Ludlow, the executive member for Environment, on 9 June 2013. She was joined by the mayor and Councillor Amanda Sargeant, who officially opened the newly restored village hall.

Eastwood Park has the following facilities:

  • rose garden
  • wildlife area
  • multi-use games area and tennis court
  • football and cricket pitches
  • two play areas
  • free outdoor gym
  • war memorial
  • village hall
  • car park
