Exclusive use of Revolution House is available Monday to Friday, subject to availability. Making it the ideal location to bring your group to find out more about the role the house played in the Revolution of 1688.

We will endeavour to meet your specific requirements, please talk to use about how we can help you make the most of your visit. Please give us at least two weeks’ notice so that we can arrangements for:

• one member of staff for the event
• a DVD on the history of the Revolution of 1688 (15 – 20 minutes)
• a short talk on the history of Revolution House
• garden games to be available (Jenga, giant Dominoes)

Revolution House is only small, therefore we recommend a group size of no more than 10 people per tour. Larger groups can be split but additional members of staff will be required. This will increase costs and may not be available on certain days, check with us when booking. A visit will take around one hour.

We sell a few items including a booklet on Revolution House. Unfortunately, refreshments are not available on site and we do not have space for visitors to have packed lunches inside. If the weather is fine, however, you are welcome to picnic in the garden. There are no toilet facilities.

Revolution House is only accessible to wheelchair users on the ground floor. The first floor is reached by a wooden staircase (11 steps) which are steep with narrow steps. A limited amount of street parking is available.

Cost
£9 per hour or part hour and £18 for the first hour. Payment should be made in advance or on the day in cash or cheque payable to Chesterfield Borough Council. Card payment in advance can be arranged.
