Join us as Chesterfield remembers it's medieval.

Taking place across the town centre with a variety of stalls in the market place, medieval themed entertainment, knights in battle in the grounds of the Crooked Spire, a day in the middle ages at Chesterfield museum, Crooked Spire open day and much more.
A great day out for all the family.
Head to the medieval encampment in the grounds of the Crooked Spire with living history 10am-4pm
Troop marches 11am and 1.30pm
Skirmishes 12.30pm and 2.30pm

Take a trip up the tower for a close up view of the Spire and see Chesterfield from up high. Tours will take place throughout the day.
Adults £5. Children £3.
A whole programme of entertainment for you to enjoy. Court jester, medieval beggars, goblins and dragon to name just a few.
Proctors will once again be bringing their fun fair to the market place.
Open Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 July, 10am-4pm
The market place will be full of stalls for you to take a loot at, from charity stands to street food as well as whole host of traders from our general and flea markets.
The market hall will also be open 9am-5pm
