Members of the public joined staff and councillors for a national one minute silence today (Tuesday 6 June) to remember those killed and injured in the terror attack in London at the weekend.
The silence took take place at 11am and was held in all council venues including: our Customer Service Centre in New Square, Chesterfield Visitor Information Centre, Chesterfield Market Hall, the Pavements Shopping Centre, On the Move, Queen's Park Sports Centre, the Healthy Living Centre, Venture House and Stonegravels depot.
Seven people were killed and 48 people hospitalised during the attack on London Bridge and Borough Market.
A book of condolence is also available for people to sign in our Customer Service Centre in New Square.
