Chesterfield Borough Council is encouraging businesses to get in touch about their experiences of reducing, reusing and recycling materials in Chesterfield.
The council declared a climate emergency in July and a working group, made up of local volunteers, has been formed to explore how both the council and borough can work towards becoming carbon neutral.
The working group would like to learn more about what businesses in the borough are doing currently to reduce waste, reuse products and recycle where possible.
All retailers big and small are encouraged to get in touch by email to share their experiences to date and any plans they have for the future. You can get in touch by writing to: email@example.com
Ian Waller, assistant director for health and wellbeing at Chesterfield Borough Council, said: “We are looking to learn more about real life experiences of those working in various sectors in the borough, any challenges they face in reducing, reusing and recycling and any plans they are putting in place for the future to become more environmentally friendly”.
