Visitors to Chesterfield Museum can find out about members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the First World War in a special event this week.
Taking place at 11am this Friday, 13 November, at the popular Chesterfield Borough Council attraction, there will be a talk about the Every Man Remembered campaign, which aims to commemorate each serviceman or woman who fell during the conflict.
Councillor Amanda Serjeant, Chesterfield Borough Council's cabinet member for town centre and visitor economy, said: "As the First World War is now beyond our living memory, it is important that we take time to learn about and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
"I would encourage anyone to come along and find out more about how they can remember someone they knew, a family member or even a stranger."
The campaign is run by the Royal British Legion in conjunction with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
