Telephone survey to help plan local services

Residents in Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire may be contacted about their shopping habits and leisure habits in a survey to help plan future services in the area.

A random selection of residents will be contacted by NEMs Market Research, an independent market research company on behalf of Bolsover District Council, Chesterfield Borough Council and North East Derbyshire District Council.

They will receive a phone call asking a series of questions, which will take around six to seven minutes to complete.

The results will help to inform the preparation of the three council’s local plans and make sure that they make the right provision for the future needs of residents and visitors.

The survey results will not identify any individuals and no personal details will be passed on to other organisations.

Residents who have any questions about the survey can contact:

  • Bolsover District Council – Jonathan Hendy on (01246) 242294
  • Chesterfield Borough Council – Alan Morey on (01246) 345371
  • North East Derbyshire District Council – Helen Fairfax on (01246) 217168.

NEMs Market Research, which is carrying out the research on behalf of Bolsover District Council, Chesterfield Borough Council and North East Derbyshire District Council and will call residents directly on (01642) 680947 or (01642) 680768.
