We issue an acknowledgement card or repairs receipt for every job we order (except for emergencies).
When you receive the acknowledgement card, please check the details so that when we attend it will be the right tradesman for the right job.
It will also remind you of an appointment date and time if one has been made. If you haven't been offered an appointment and would like one, please ring the freephone number 0800 587 5659.
We will also send a text message to your mobile or a voice message to your land line to remind you of the appointment.
We are able to offer a number of appointments each working day for work that requires access inside your home, providing the work can be done within half a day.
You can choose to have either:
- a morning appointment between 8am and 12 noon
- an afternoon appointment between 12.30pm and 4pm
- an evening appointment between 4:30pm and 7:30pm
- a Saturday appointment between 8am and 2:30pm
(Please note: Evening and Saturday appointments are popular and may not always be instantly available.)
The “Repairs by Appointment” scheme is designed to provide a level of service that meets your expectations and is a service improvement introduced by listening to what our tenants want.
It will reduce the incidence of “not knowing” when our contractor will call, and it will avoid our contractor having to make a second visit if you are not at home when they call.
It also helps those tenants who work irregular hours, or who are normally out at work during the day, to plan for their repairs to be carried out at a suitable time.
