Chesterfield Active Tenants (ChAT): get involved
ChAT (Chesterfield Active Tenants) is a group of tenants across Chesterfield who have told us how they would like to get involved in our services.
Some of these ways, including working/focus groups, the tenant inspection service and the tenant challenge panel, are explained in more detail on other pages.

Have your say on our services
Interested in having your say on our services? There are a number of different ways that you can get involved.
Tenant Challenge Panel
Join other tenants for a few hours each month to review how our housing services operate.
Working groups
Join us for a short series of meetings (approx. one – two hours over three months) to give your opinion on specific topics such as anti-social behaviour or repairs.
Virtual panel
Can you spare 30 minutes to an hour? Be consulted and give your feedback on our services via email or other digital methods.
Communications group
Got an eye for detail and a spare half an hour? Check and comment on our publications such as leaflets, posters, website pages etc. before they are published.
Tenant inspectors
Become a mystery shopper for an hour or two per month and check our services to test how we are doing - (meetings and on site work).
Focus groups
Join us for one off meeting (approx. two hours) to give your opinion on specific topics.
Armchair consultee
Have the information sent directly to you and give feedback about our services from the comfort of our home – it will only take up to an hour to complete.
Surveys
Give your views by completing 10-minute surveys that will help shape our service.
