The former sheltered scheme Duewell Court and the blocks of flats Chiswick and Ealing Courts have been demolished opening up an area for potential redevelopment.

The improvement works to the estate have been split into two phases. The contractor Casey Group was appointed to deliver the first phase of improvements and is now on site and carrying out the work. The first phase covers the area between the southern half of Woodford Way up to Campbell Drive. The work includes:

  • improvements and upgrade parking areas,
  • new pathways,
  • renewed boundary treatments
  • green spaces on the estate.

The first phase of work covers the southern half of Woodford Way up to Campbell Drive. Casey Group have a site office at 3 Woodford Way, Barrow Hill so can discuss plans and proposals with residents.

The detailed drawing and designs in the first phase can be viewed on the planning pages of the website and using reference CHE/17/00568/FUL

The council intends to submit a Planning Application for the second phase of works in late 2018 and will advise local residents when the proposals are submitted.
