Housing associations

A housing association is a not-for-profit landlord that provides affordable properties to rent or buy.

There are 16 housing associations renting over 1,300 properties in Chesterfield Borough. 

Each of the associations offers a proportion of their properties that are available to let through the Home Options choice-based letting system. In addition, several of the housing associations operate their own waiting lists and allocate their own properties.
