Chesterfield College is the main centre for further education in Chesterfield and a leading provider of further education, higher education, apprenticeships and professional training services, delivering over 280 courses across 70 subjects.

Chesterfield also has a number of private and specialist providers of further education.

YMCA Key College

At campuses in Derby, Ilkeston and Chesterfield, YMCA Key College provides a range of accredited full-time education for young people aged 16-18 and, if the student has an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, up to the age of 24 in some instances.

YMCA believe that every young person should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. They provide suitable learning courses, the right environment and highly-qualified and dedicated tutors to make sure this happens.

YMCA offer courses in Childcare, Health and Social Care, Hospitality and Catering, Retail and Customer Service, Digital Skills and Uniformed Services.

YMCA are proud to be linked with many local businesses, enabling them to offer learners relevant practical work experience and volunteer opportunities. Their highly-qualified and experienced team have been delivering a quality training provision across Derby and Derbyshire for over 10 years and are proud to be an Ofsted 'Good'- rated training provider.
