Planning committee

The planning committee meets every three weeks throughout the year to consider the more complex, controversial and major planning applications submitted to the council for determination.

Planning committee meetings

Planning committee agendas and reports are made available a week before the scheduled meeting. Minutes are then available one week after the date of the meeting. You can access the agenda, reports and minutes for each meeting via the online meetings and minutes system: http://chesterfield.moderngov.co.uk/mgCommitteeDetails.aspx?ID=179 

Planning committee meetings are open to the general public. Any member of the public can request to speak at the meeting if they have written to the council objecting to or supporting a planning application. Further information on speaking at committee is available in the leaflet below.
