Booking will not be available until 6am for 8 days in advance bookings for classes.

Apologies we are currently experiencing problems with the online booking system - and you may be unable to book a class / or receive notification that you have booked. We are working to sort this out as quickly as possible.

Our group exercise class timetable includes both classes in the studio and in the pool.

New classes

Post natal classes

Wednesday 1pm to 1.45pm

Thursday 10am to 11am

Get back into shape after having a baby with our fun and varied classes.

 Thunderstorm class

Saturday 11am-12noon
Aimed at parents and older siblings with children aged 8 to 15 years old to train together. These classes consist of HIIT, boxing, fit balls and boot camp circuits.

Cancelling a class

Class cancellations must be made at least two hours in advance by phone, direct email or in person. For non attendance of any activity, or not cancelling with the appropriate notice a fee of £3.00 will be charged.

Online booking

Register your Active Chesterfield card and simply log in to the online booking page to make your class bookings. You can book up to 8 days in advance.

To register your account you'll need to use a PC or laptop. Once registered you can use your smart phone or tablet to book classes.

We currently run the following classes.

Studio-based classes

Aerobics: high/low impact cardiovascular workout
Abs Blast: strengthens and tones all your abdominal muscles
Body Combat: high-energy workout combining punches and kicks, inspired by martial arts disciplines
Body Burn: high-energy aerobic and body weight class to burn fat
Body Pump: weights-based workout designed to sculpt, tone and strengthen your whole body
Cycling (indoor): cardiovascular workout on indoor exercise bikes, incorporating running, jumping, spinning and climbing
Circuits: whole-body workout incorporating resistance and aerobic moves to strengthen, tone and increase fitness
LBT: a class designed to hit those hard-to-tone areas, working the core and lower body
Pilates: a system of exercises designed to improve posture, flexibility and strength, and to calm the mind
Kettlebells: functional compound exercises using a cannon-shaped kettlebell to help develop strength, tone and fitness
Sculpt and Tone: a dynamic strength training class that includes stretching, abdominal work, and muscle isolation, resulting in a full-body workout
Step: a cardiovascular workout that uses choreographed step patterns to provide a great fat-burning workout
Yoga: a traditional Eastern discipline focusing on increasing flexibility, physical and mental strength through a series of postures
Pregnancy yoga: a class specifically for women over 14 weeks pregnant
Zumba / Zumba Gold: Latin-inspired dance fitness class that creates a dynamic, fun and effective workout                                                                                                                          360 fitness; a fantastic functional fitness class that will push you to your max.

Aquacise: water-based cardiovascular workout suitable for all
