Holiday activities at Healthy Living Centre

Half term holiday activities Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November 2019. 

We have a fun packed programme throughout the school holidays to keep your kids busy, as well as our full or half day holiday club on Friday 1 November!

Disney Swim at Healthy Living Centre

Age restrictions 

Climbing sessions - for age 7 to 15.

Disney swim sessions - family session for children aged 2 to 11.

Spike Island - age 8 to 15, must be able to swim 50m.

Full or half day holiday club - Friday 1 November

Bring your 6 to 14 year olds along to our fully supervised holiday club, with organised activities throughout the day. Booking recommend as places are limited.

  • 9am to 10am - team games
  • 10am to 11am - Dance Jam
  • 11am to midday - pool activities - don't forget your swimming kit!

Lunch break midday to 12.45pm (bring your own packed lunch)

  • 1pm to 2.20pm - Fun Fit
  • 2.45pm to 4pm - benchball and dodgeball

Full day £10: 

  • drop off 9am / pick up 4pm

Half day £5:

  • morning session - drop off 9am / pick up 12pm midday.
  • afternoon session - drop off 1pm / pick up 4pm.

Holiday club terms and conditions

  • a parent or guardian must sign their children in and out with the coaches on arrival and when leaving
  • lockers must be used and a refundable £1 coin is needed
  • children need a packed lunch and snacks/drinks for throughout the day
  • children attending the morning session must bring swimming kit
  • all activities must be paid for in full when booking
  • we are unable to offer any refunds for booked sessions – but bookings can be transferred to another child 
  • we reserve the right to withdraw a participant from a session if they are not behaving, using equipment in a responsible way or causing upset / harm to other participants
  • a consent form must be filled in for each child when booking, without this they will not be able to participate.

FREE activities for Staveley residents

Staveley town council provide activities for local children in the school holidays. Free tickets for all the above holiday activities (except climbing taster and climbing club sessions) can be obtained from Staveley Town Council - including the full and half day holiday club.

In addition, Staveley residents can get free tickets to extra activities during the holidays that are not available to the general public:

Monday 28 October:

  • Disney swim 10am to 10.45am
  • climbing wall (7+) 1.30pm to 2.30pm and 2.45pm to 4.15pm

Wednesday 30 October:

  • Disney swim 10am to 10.45am
  • Unit One Martial Arts (6 to 15 years) 10.30am to midday
  • Spike Island (8-15 years) 2pm to 3pm - must be able to swim 50m

Friday 1 November:

How to get your free tickets:

Free tickets are strictly limited and available on a first come first served basis from Staveley Town Council and are only available to Staveley residents. Once you have your free ticket you must still book your session with the Healthy Living Centre to make sure you reserve your place.
