Out-Swimming cancer
Free supportive weekly group sessions for anyone who has had cancer.
Weekly swimming sessions are available between Monday 1 November 2021 and Monday 18 July 2022 (except school holidays).
There are no sessions taking place on:
- Monday 20 December
- Monday 27 December
- Monday 3 January
- Monday 21 February
- Monday 11 April
- Monday 18 April
- Monday 30 May
Swimming teachers
A swim teacher is available at all times to encourage, reassure and improve the swimming skills of those attending - if they wish.

General advice on what to wear and support available.
When does the swim start?
Those attending the session will meet in reception at 1pm. The swim takes place from 1.15pm to 2.15pm (the quiet time of the pool timetable).
Check your fitness
Please make sure you are fit and well enough to be in the swimming pool, check with your GP or consultant if you are unsure.
