It's never too late to learn how to swim or to improve or build water confidence.

Adult swimming lessons are available for over 16s of varying ability, from non-swimmers and complete beginners to those who want to build on their basic technique.

Beginners: specifically designed for adults to gain water confidence, learn basic strokes and swim up to a distance of 5 metres

Improvers: for adults who can already swim short distances, to help develop their swimming stroke and improve their stamina

Lesson times

Queen's Park Sports Centre:

Wednesday: 6.30pm to 7.15pm 

Wednesday Stroke development: 7.15 to 8pm (for competent swimmers)

Healthy Living Centre

Friday am: 10.30 to 11.15am 

One-to-one swimming lessons

These are available for all ages and abilities from children through to adults.
