Government COVID-19 roadmap
Step two of the Government’s roadmap to ease lockdown is now in place.
As of 12 April, the following changes apply to our services: please see what you can and cannot do for more information about current restrictions in place. You can also see the full COVID-19 roadmap.
- The Customer Services Centre is open the public from 9am to 2pm (with a 10am opening on Wednesdays for ongoing staff training)
- The Town Hall is open to the public, from 9am to 5pm
- Queens Park Sports Centre and The Healthy Living Centre in Staveley is open (but no fitness classes) – see the frequently asked questions for full information
- Non-essential retail is open in the town centres, Market Hall and Pavements Shopping Centre
The Visitor Information Centre, Pomegranate Theatre and Chesterfield Museum are due to re-open the public on 17 May. The Winding Wheel continues to be used as a COVID-19 vaccination centre and will re-open later in the year.

We're working closely with lead health organisations to ensure that the people of Chesterfield are protected and kept well informed.
