More From Your Museum

Too early

Please wait until the correct date.

There’s more to the museum than exhibitions, and there's lots that we can offer online.

We have a large number of memory boxes that can help older people and people living with dementia reminisce about their past. Our education boxes can help school groups bring their history topics to life. Items in these boxes are designed to spark memories or encourage discussion.

We also offer an identification service. If you’ve found a historical item but don’t know what it is, we’re happy to have a look at it and try to help identify it.

We’ve put together a whole host of online things to do including crafts, quizzes and activities. You can also see lots of videos that cover all sorts of things from arming a knight to the history of tea, from Henry VIII celebrating fatherhood to Christmas at Revolution House. Have a look at our YouTube playlist.

Although our museum at Stephenson Memorial Hall is closed for renovation, you can still visit us at Revolution House - you can even book a visit where your group will have exclusive use of Revolution House to find out more about its history.
