The tenant challenge panel (TCP) is our longest established tenant group.
Its aim is to put tenants at the heart of co-regulation to influence decisions within Chesterfield Borough Council’s housing services by scrutinising services and making recommendations for consideration by the housing management team.
The TCP is responsible for identifying and completing tenant scrutiny reviews, and producing scrutiny review reports which may:
- make recommendations to the housing management team where the panel finds that performance or service provision has fallen below the expected level
- highlight best practice within performance or service provision within scrutiny reports
- inform and influence the direction of housing services at Chesterfield Borough Council
