By road

By rail

Chesterfield is less than 50 miles from Manchester airport; East Midlands airport and Doncaster Sheffield (Robin Hood) airport can both be reached in less than an hour. 

By coach

National Express operate regular coaches to Chesterfield, including a direct services from most regional and London airports. Megabus also runs a direct service between Chesterfield and London St Pancras International station.
