Local Development Scheme
As part of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended) Local Planning Authorities must prepare a 'Local Development Scheme'.
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) shows our programme for producing the Local Development Plan. It explains which Local Development Documents will be produced as part of our Local Plan and when they will be produced.
The latest LDS (LDS12) which took effect on 1 March 2024, and the previous LDS (LDS11) from March 2021 are available below:
