What’s the job about?
- we are on the lookout for a confident and positive person to join our team as a Customer Service Apprentice
- get hands-on experience helping people every day – whether that’s over the phone, online or face-to-face
- learn all about the council services and how to support people with their questions or problems
- don’t worry if you haven’t worked in customer service before – we’ll give you full training and support to build your skills and confidence
What are we looking for?
We want someone who:
- enjoys chatting and helping others, Is friendly, polite and easy to talk to
- can stay calm under pressure and solve problems
- is ready to work in a fast-paced environment
- can work well in a team
- is up for learning new things
- has good computer and keyboard skills
- has Maths and English at GCSE grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent)
If you’ve already completed a qualification or apprenticeship, it needs to be at a lower level or in a totally different subject to this one.
