Report a change through My Chesterfield

Sorry, our online revenues and benefits service will be unavailable this weekend due to essential maintenance. 

The work will be carried out between 5pm on Friday 29 August and 8am on Monday 1 September. During this time you won't be able to access Council Tax, Business Rates or Housing Benefit forms, and you won't be able to check your account online.

You need a My Chesterfield account to tell us about the change to your Business Rates account online.

This is because we need to verify your details before giving you access to your Business Rates account.

Signing up is quick and easy. We will need to know:

  • your name and address
  • your phone number
  • your email address 

'My Services' is the secure part of My Chesterfield where you will be able to manage your Business Rates account online. For your security we will send you a PIN through the post before giving you online access to your Business Rates account.

Once your registration is complete you can tell us about your change of address, and you can also:

  • apply for reductions and reliefs
  • request council services and report problems
