Tenant satisfaction measures
The Regulator of Social Housing has launched a new system for assessing and measuring how well housing landlords in England are doing at providing good quality homes and services.
New Tenant Satisfaction Measures were introduced by Government on 1 April 2023 and are designed to help to monitor how well landlords are doing at providing quality homes and services, and to understand how they can make improvements.
As part of the new measures, we will be required to collect and share data on how we are doing at completing repairs, keeping homes safe, and engaging with our customers – and we need your help with this.
More about the Tenant Satisfaction Measures.
We will be writing to a random sample of our tenants throughout the year, asking them to complete a tenant satisfaction survey. If you receive a letter from us asking to take part in the survey, you can either complete the form you receive via the post or take part online.
If you wish to complete the survey online, you will need to input the unique number found on your letter to access the form.
By completing a tenant satisfaction survey, you will help us to find out where we are doing well as your landlord and where we need to improve.
Please take this opportunity to have your say. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. It doesn’t matter if you’ve only just moved into your home or don’t use all of the services discussed. It is important that we hear everybody’s views.
Results from this survey will be used to calculate annual Tenant Satisfaction Measures which will be published in April 2024.
All those who return their surveys can choose to be entered into a prize draw with an opportunity to win a £50 Love2Shop High Street shopping voucher, which can be spent in-store at shops including Boots, Wilko and WHSmith.
All of your answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and will only be used to monitor the quality of the Housing Service provided to you by Chesterfield Borough Council.
If you have any questions or if you need the survey in a different format like large print, easy read, British Sign Language, braille or translating into another language, please do not hesitate to contact Allison Potter on 01246 936793 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy to help you.
