We have some frequently asked questions to tell you everything you need to know and do when visiting our leisure centres.

Our modern, purpose-built sports and leisure centres are perfect for people like you.

The Healthy Living Centre in Staveley, and Queen's Park Sports Centre in Chesterfield, have a wide range of facilities and activities on offer, and with inclusive active fitness memberships or 'pay as you go' options, the choice is yours:

Fitness

There's also free weights, medicine balls, sandbags and BOSU in our functional workout zones. Our dedicated studios host a packed programme of group fitness classes, why not try our health spa for some well-earned relaxation, or maybe a treatment from Time Beauty*?

Swimming

Our learner, 6 lane, and 8 lane pools provide a varied swimming programme, with family friendly 'village' style changing and easy access to the pools for customers with reduced mobility.

We hold a range of water-based fitness classes, and our comprehensive learn to swim programme suits all ages and abilities - fees are discounted for members, and children on our swimming lessons programme can swim for free.

Sports

You can play a wide range of sports at our Queen's Park Sports Centre including squash, badminton, table tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, bowling and boccia, plus we have a floodlit outdoor 3G court for hire. The Healthy Living Centre also boasts a 17 line, 70 route, 10.5m climbing wall and bouldering room.

Our trampolining and gymnastics programmes offer classes for all ages and abilities up to competition level.

Kids

We've loads going on specially for kids at our two centres. As well as trampolining, gymnastics and swimming lessons, there are climbing clubs and gym sessions for juniors.

Our five-floor soft play zone (currently closed) is open every day, and our Spike Island and Water Rave sessions will keep them busy in the holidays. We run a fun packed holiday activity club for kids aged from 6 to 14 (with a discount for members), and offer a variety of birthday party packages including sports, climbing, soft play (currently closed), bouncy castle and pool parties.

Membership

Active fitness members can enjoy a wide range of activities and facilities at both of our centres, with advance online booking for many activities, for just one monthly payment.

There are also special reductions on swimming lessons, birthday parties and holiday clubs for family memberships - find out more here.
