Car parks in Chesterfield
Our car parks are in lots of handy locations in and around Chesterfield town centre.
Derbyshire Times car park is closed to the public due to the refurbishment of Stephenson Memorial Hall.
Alternative parking is available nearby at St Mary's Gate, Station Road and Spa Lane.
Rose Hill car park (west half) - Closed from 24 June 2024
The west half of Rose Hill car park (the side furthest from the town centre) will be closed from 24 June to make space for a town centre regeneration works compound.
The closure is expected to be in place for around 18 months.
Charges apply at all our car parks from 8am until 8pm Monday to Sunday inclusive unless otherwise stated.
On Bank Holiday Mondays, Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, the normal tariff applies.
Our pay machines only take cash and you are unable to pay for parking by card at these machine. However, in some car parks you can pay via your mobile phone using the RingGo app: Find out more
