Love Chesterfield
Let’s Love Chesterfield

Do you live, work, visit or do business in Chesterfield?
Complete our Love Chesterfield surveys to help us to learn more about how you, or your customers, use services in our town centres - you could even win in our prize draw!
We’ve teamed up with Destination Chesterfield to launch Love Chesterfield – a celenration of everything that’s great in our borough.
The campaign is centred around our town centre, high streets and shopping areas and aims to encourage everyone to discover or rediscover the great shopping and leisure experiences we have on our doorstep.
Whether it’s a unique or special gift you are looking for, or just your daily shopping, Chesterfield’s businesses have got it covered.
It’s never been more important for us each to do our bit to help support local businesses.
Our cafes, bars and restaurants also need our support and we aren’t short of options in Chesterfield for a quick coffee or bite to eat, to a slap-up meal, or a night out with friends.
Revisit an old favourite – or discover something new
Our Love Chesterfield campaign aims to encourage everyone back to safely socialise with friends again, whilst supporting local businesses.
Chesterfield is friendly and welcoming - come and enjoy everything we have to offer.

Supporting businesses
We’ve produced a Love Chesterfield business support pack full of free marketing materials which businesses can use to help promote their services and support the town centre.
The council also offers a range of support, advice and guidance for businesses. Find out more about coronavirus business information.
You can also find business support information on our website.
Have your say!
You can help Love Chesterfield promote and support our high streets and town centres - by telling us how you or your customers use them.
Our short business survey asks questions about your business performance and any changes you have noticed in the last three months (January 2023 to April 2023).
The consumer survey asks you about events or venues you have attended and services you have used recently in our communities.
Please spend a few minutes to complete the questionnaire that is relevant to you. The results will allow us to monitor the performance of the town, the success of marketing campaigns and business support and will help to shape future activity to support high street businesses across the borough.
The surveys will close on 20 June 2023.
At the end of the consumer questionnaire, there is an opportunity to win either a free 3-month gym membership or a free 3-month place on a children’s activity class at our leisure centres.
By completing the business survey you will have the chance to enter a prize draw to win advertising for your business in the Destination Chesterfield business or leisure e-shot (worth £100). To qualify, you will need to fill out this and the next three quarterly Love Chesterfield Surveys for your chance of having a banner advertisement. A winner will be drawn in Spring 2024.
Town centre engagement officer
Rebecca, our town centre engagement officer, is here to help town centre businesses- whether signposting to useful information or finding the right contact to help with a business need.
Businesses can contact Rebecca at rebecca.bland@chesterfield.gov.uk or on 07976 942044.
The campaign is being funded through the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund, after the council was awarded £96,000. The money has also helped fund marketing campaigns such as the successful Christmas campaign and the Amazing Magical Chesterfield Santa House.
