A revolutionary new fitness system designed to make exercise more accessible, personalised and effective is launching at the Healthy Living Centre this week.
The new EGYM technology uses smart equipment and digital coaching tools to guide customers through tailored workouts, helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their health and fitness goals with confidence.
Chesterfield Borough Council is going to be using EGYM, a connected fitness system that brings together smart strength and cardio equipment with tailored training programmes. The equipment automatically adjusts to each user’s ability and goals, helping customers train safely and effectively while tracking their progress through a dedicated app.
EGYM technology is designed to support users at every stage of their fitness journey. Once set up, customers can benefit from personalised equipment settings, guided workouts, automatic resistance adjustments and digital progress tracking, helping to make gym sessions simpler, more motivating and more effective.
Councillor Gavin Baldauf-Good, cabinet member for customers and business transformation, said: “This is a fantastic investment in our leisure facilities and in the health and wellbeing of our community. The new EGYM system will give customers a more personalised gym experience, helping people of different fitness levels feel confident, supported and motivated to reach their goals. I would encourage current and new customers to take advantage of this new investment and let our staff know in the centre if you need any help or guidance on how to use it.”
The launch forms part of the council’s ongoing commitment to improving leisure services and supporting residents to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
