We’ve got parking for up to 150 cars. Sports centre users can park for free for up to three hours, to give you plenty of time to enjoy all our facilities. We do request that you do not exceed this time and there is no return within one hour. We shall be monitoring the car park to ensure this is adhered to. Our car park will be covered by CCTV monitoring for your own safety during your visit to our centre. Please also ensure that you are parked within a marked car park bay.
Blue Badge holders – please ensure you clearly display a valid blue badge when using the designated parking bays. Parking fines may be issued to cars not showing a badge.
We’ve got a cycle shed where you can leave your push bike to keep dry against the elements.
These are clearly signposted as you drive onto the site. These are for coaches and people dropping by car. These are intended purely as drop-off points and to ensure the flow of traffic – no waiting will be allowed at these points.
Lockers are available throughout the centre for use by customers using our facilities.
There are lockers downstairs in the swimming pool changing rooms and in the corridor for use by people using the sports hall and squash courts. These will be operated by a £1 coin, which will be returned on finishing using the locker.
Lockers upstairs for the gym and studio use will be used with a padlock. Padlocks are available to buy from the centre or you can provide your own. Please ensure that you use the locker only for the duration of your visit. Lockers may be emptied nightly and all items removed and taken to lost property. Padlocks may be broken to gain access and will not be replaced by Chesterfield Borough Council.
