Local elections were held across the Chesterfield Borough Council area in May 2023.
Since the full-council elections, by-elections have also been held in the Boythorpe, Brampton East, Spire and Staveley North wards.
Chesterfield Borough Council is currently made up of 40 councillors - 27 Labour Party councillors, 11 Liberal Democrat Party councillors, and two Reform UK councillors.
The leader of the council is Councillor Tricia Gilby, the deputy leader is Councillor Amanda Serjeant.
