This is an exciting opportunity to join our Pavements Security Team as a Security Support Officer.
You must have recent relevant experience in the security industry and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as this is very much an ambassadorial role. You will be supporting visitors, members of the public and tenants within the Pavements Shopping Centre.
This role can be challenging at times and requires a calm, firm and professional manner at all times. Experience in conflict resolution and dynamic risk assessments is crucial to the role.
You must hold an SIA Door Supervisor Licence and ideally hold or be capable of attaining the SIA Public Space Surveillance accreditation within 3 months of being appointed if you are not already accredited. A First Aid at work qualification is desirable or the ability to achieve this.
The centre operates a 24-hour service, as such you will be expected to fulfil a rota covering 3 shifts over a 24-hour period 365 days. The Pavements Centre is a major retail partner for the town centre and the Security Support Officer role is crucial in maintaining a safe and welcoming shopping environment to support the tenants and Pavements brand.
If you have the enthusiasm, drive, and experience we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
