Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking an operations manager to join our cultural venues team to launch our new theatre and museum venue, 1435.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the operation of some of the town’s most valued public buildings, including 1435 and the Winding Wheel Theatre.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the building management and the technical delivery of all events at the cultural venues is carried out to an excellent standard and ensuring that all venues comply with all health and safety requirements. You will be responsible for the developing and introducing the operational procedures for the re-opening and operation of 1435. You will be responsible for leading the theatre technical team and caretaking team and will have proven management experience.
The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of premises management, facilities maintenance, health and safety, and operating multi-site venues with different functionalities.
